"Hear Today, Gone Tomorrow" was a unique European tour embarked upon by members of Galapagos4 & Heardrums in January/February 2005. 4 DJs (Dreas, Deejay OM, Meaty Ogre & Dallas Jackson) along with 1 MC (Mestizo) put on a different sort of hip-hop show for the European masses. The DJs took the decks and, depending on the mood that night, did everything from spinning hip-hop, funk 45s and the usual party jams to remixing acapella tracks with their own beats, a special "Reheated Naan & Curry" DJ set from OM in preview of his yet-to-be-released album, Meaty showing his talents as a singer, and live beat-making of course. Mestizo then would take the stage and rock his set as the only MC on the tour, before handing it back over to the DJs to get the 45s back out and the dance party going.
This CD was created for sale on this tour and is no longer available, except in digital form. It features 18 tracks, most of which are exclusive to this extremely limited release.
